Rather than going out to search for material, I wanted to document the simple and routine acts in life. Often these are the moments we miss and come to treasure in the future.
Film used: Fujifilm Pro 400H.
My favorite photo is my dad showing off his super scissors.
Hemming a new pair of pants in the living room.
Taking a stroll near Mt.Pleasant Cemetery.
40 minute long exposure to capture the meteor shower.
Playing with Ben and Lilian at church.
Uncle Eric lifting her high in the air!
Double Happiness!

The season finally ended but we had a terrific finish when we beat our nemisis, The Green Machine, at the play-offs.
Photos were taken with the Fuji Instax200 Camera, classic.
Thanks for a great season and all the 11pm games!
Recently I purchased a Fuji Instax 200 camera with some of their instant film to boot. It has been the go-to camera rather than my beloved K20D. Ergonomically the camera is a disaster, but this seemingly water-proof camera only has 4 buttons!
This is Jane’s Hippie-van, it was an adventure just trying to get across the city without catching on fire, running out of gas, or rolling over!
I love the imperfections of the instant films, each expired shot has its own color cast and antique feel to it.
First roll with a Pentax LX with FC-1 viewfinder. The camera is well-built, easy to use, and portable. Unfortunately this unit suffers from the sticky mirror problem as well as mis-aligned mirror, leading to several OOF shots.
Here are some images from the first roll (BW ASA400). Horace doing some repair work on a Rolleicord TLR.
Charlie’s birthday at Dosa Hut.
Watching the Soul, our church softball team. Coach Ian and Adrian prepare to get on the field.
Triumphant return after hitting a home run!
The very loud cheering section (ie Kathy).
Some action shots, a bit tough with the sticky mirror.
Quick briefing in between innings.
Doing a cheer/dance for the other team!
A thunderstorm was overhead so they called the game early. Notice the lightening in the background.
Hanging out and eating lamb curry at Justin’s house.
Mom was in HK so Dad had to cook. He went to Costco and stocked up on a lot of prepared food.
Sunday worship.
Snapshots from church. Celebrating Pastor Eric’s birthday. :)
As some of you might know, I am currently traveling in China till early July. This is a postdated entry, hopefully I can write about my experience in China next week. Till then!
